History
In 1989, Jag Builders along with Trammell Crow and Arthur Rutenberg Homes constructed the first phase of custom homes in Mallard Grove. Mastercraft Builders and Parker Lancaster Homes completed the remaining lots in the quiet, heavily wooded neighborhood. Mallard Grove is conveniently located off Harris Blvd. in the University City area between I-77 and I-85.
Homeowners Association
The purpose of our homeowners' association is to provide for maintenance and preservation of the Mallard Grove subdivision entrance including the landscaped island. In addition, the association promotes the health, safety and welfare of all its residents. Every owner of a lot in Mallard Grove is a member and entitled to one vote. An annual voluntary assessment funds the association. Currently, the assessment is $120.
Front Entrance Landscaping
The front entrance is currently being maintained by Heaven and Earth Landscaping.
Our latest improvements include painting the background of our signage black and restoring our original brass lettering in the Fall of 2023. (Thank you neighbor Jeff Enochs!)
Our next project will be further improvement of the signage to include a potential redesign or a change in lighting. As always, we depend on your support by paying dues to fund enhancements. We appreciate your support!
In the interim, we will need assistance with larger maintenance projects where we will look to schedule periodic “working” days for neighborhood volunteers. These activities may include: removal of small trees, spreading of mulch, division of plants, cleaning of brick, painting of wrought iron.
Any suggestions concerning the front entrance can be made by contacting us.
